This has been very sucessf as not one case this yearl

Appropriate size Hutch (possibly a small shed) and runs with access to garden if possible. Straw or/and Shavings.
Inside Hutch/Cage.
Well-Being
Warmth, Air Circulation, Light, Appropriate Food and Water, Pro-Biotic's, Love. Handling and Grooming.
Continental Giant Does
Continental Giant Does must not be bred until they are at least 8 months old. On the other hand their first mating must be before they are 1 year old, giving only a 4 moth window for their first mating as their pelvis may harden and therefore making the birthing process very difficult and painful
& even deadly.
Bucks will be able to breed at 4/5months but it is best to keep them until 6 months plus allowing to put on more weight.
These are my 2020/2021 Does

These are the Does that I am used in 2018

Mother was a Harli Fawn & Blue and Father was Chinchilla.

These are does some that I have used in the past.

Home bred from Harlequin to Harlequin.

This doe was bought in. Her Mother was a Siamese Agouti. Have used one of my own REW bucks and had some interesting babies, still not sure what colour they are.

I bought this doe in from Holland/Belgium. I am now looking for a Large Blue Buck for her and another project that I am working on.

At the moment I am describing this doe as Lilac but every time I ask about colours they seem to come up with different answers. If you can help please let me know. She is my own blood line having been bred from Lilac to Lilac.

From a program that I have been working on I have now produced Magpie. I have Magpie 1 Doe and Buck (brother and sister) and Magpie 2 Doe and Buck (brother and sister).

This is a new doe that is home bred in 2016. She will be ready to breed in March 2017. She is almost Black as has only few flecks. She will probably be put with my Sooty Fawn VM. Unless you know better.

She is home bred in 2016. She will be part of my Magpie project and will be put with my Yellow/Black HarliChin Buck She will be ready to breed in

I have not used this Doe for a while as she is now retired.

Fawn with Blue markings are less usual than Yellow & Black. This was bred from Chinchilla and Harlequin by me and I call them Harli/Chins. No outward differences but genetically may hold something special. (more to follow during the season). She was born in 2016 and will be ready to breed in Jan 2017.

This doe produced a nest that consisted of 3 Magpies plus an assortment of other colours.

This, of the Steels is Dark Steel. She is a great foster mum who will take on looking after any babies that you put with her. She is home bred.

This Ghost Chinchilla although White shows flecking all over her body. This flecking is Fawn in colouration. She is home bred.

Although Ghost Chinchilla she shows no flecking at all. She has Grey/Blue eyes lighter than a Blue Eyed White. She is home bred.

This is the normal Chinchilla colour. Chinchilla's come in a variation of shades, some may then be called Ghost Chinchilla. She is home bred. This one was bought in.

This Lilac Chinchilla Bloodline 2 was bought in. This gives me 2 Bloodlines to develop the Lilac colour.

This Blue Tort was bought in. She at 8 months was not as heavy as I would expect but I am sure that she will put on the weight and size.

Of the Steels this one is Black Steel. She has Flecking all over some Black Steel show intermittent. She was bought in.

Some times difficult to tell the difference between these 2 colours. I tend to think that the Lynx has a Blueish undertone.
